Hexham Golf Club
What you’re in for.
Hexham is a parkland course, sheltered and green, its holes framed by old timber, in Northumberland, the North East.
You will see far more of Hexham as a member's guest than as a passing visitor. Hosted Rounds pairs you with a member who hosts you at the club's guest rate, played together, on the understanding that you will host them in return.
GETTING ON, AND THE RULES
AT THE CLUB
Play Hexham as a member’s guest, for £27.50.
That is the club’s own member’s guest rate, up to 58% below the £65 visitor green fee. A member signs you in and plays the round with you. Hosted Rounds is the members’ network that finds you the member.
Playing Hexham as a guest
How do I play Hexham Golf Club as a guest?+
Hexham Golf Club is a private members' club, so the surest way to play it is as a member's guest. Hosted Rounds is a UK members' network built for exactly that: join, connect with a Hexham member, and they sign you in as their guest, usually at the club's own member's-guest rate rather than the full visitor fee.
How much is it to play Hexham Golf Club with a member?+
Played as a member's guest at Hexham, the rate is about £27.50 on weekdays and £32.50 at weekends, versus the £65 visitor green fee. Your host signs you in and it is paid at the club on the day.
How much does membership at Hexham Golf Club cost?+
Membership subscriptions at Hexham are set annually and, as at most private members' clubs, are generally quoted on enquiry, so ask the club direct about current fees, joining fees and any waiting list. If the aim is to play Hexham rather than join it, you do not need a membership at all: a member can sign you in as their guest for about £27.50, which is what Hosted Rounds arranges.
Can you play Hexham Golf Club without being a member?+
Yes. Hexham takes visitors, with a green fee of around £65. You can also play as a member's guest, signed in by a member at the club's lower guest rate, which is what Hosted Rounds arranges.
