1. What Hosted Rounds is

Hosted Rounds is an introduction service operated by Hosted Rounds Ltd. We connect verified members of golf clubs so they can arrange rounds of golf together as hosts and guests.

We are not a booking platform, a tee-time agent, or a payment service. Rounds are arranged directly between members. Green fees and any other costs are paid by each golfer directly to the club concerned. Hosted Rounds never handles money between golfers.

2. Membership and eligibility

Membership is open to playing members of golf clubs aged 18 or over, verified by their WHS number and home club. You must provide accurate information and keep it accurate. We may decline or revoke membership where information is false or a membership lapses.

Independent (iGolf or equivalent) handicap holders are not eligible, because membership requires a home club at which you can host.

Membership is free while the network grows. Fees introduced later will be published before they apply.

3. Arranging rounds

All rounds are arranged directly between members, on terms they agree between themselves. Logging a round is a record members make of an arrangement they have made; it is not a booking made by us, and we are not a party to it.

Each golfer is responsible for their own green fee, paid to the club at the guest rate, and for complying with the host club's rules, dress code and conditions of play.

4. Conduct, the Codes, and removal

The Guest Code and the Host Code form part of these terms. A silent failure to attend an arranged round without notice may result in permanent removal, host or guest. We may also suspend or remove members for conduct that harms other members, host clubs, or the network.

Playing tokens have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and expire with membership.

5. Our responsibility, and its limits

We verify membership claims at the point of joining, but members remain responsible for their own arrangements, conduct and property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hosted Rounds Ltd is not liable for any costs, losses or damages arising from arranged rounds, including travel, accommodation, green fees or other expenses where a round is cancelled or a member fails to attend.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. The legal bits
