One for the guest, one for the host. They’re not terms and conditions. They’re how good golf has always worked, written down.
The Guest Code
You're carrying your host's name as well as your own.

Your green fee is yours: pay it at the pro shop, in full, without being asked.

Arrive early. Your host is vouching for you from the moment you park.

Know the dress code before you travel, and follow it.

Play off your real handicap. Everyone can check it, and they will.

Respect the course: repair, rake, replace.

The first drink after the round is on you.

Never turn up unannounced, or bring anyone who wasn't agreed.

Log the rounds, it's how you build your reputation within the network.
The Host Code
You asked them over. Make it a round worth the drive.

You invited them: be there, be on time, play the round with them.

Tell your guest the dress code, the parking, and anything odd about your club before they set off.

If you must cancel, do it the moment you know, never on the day if you can help it.

Introduce your guest in the clubhouse like you would any friend.

Log the round; it's how the network pays you back.
And one rule above both.
Cancelling with notice is life; the playing token returns and nothing is held against you. Failing to turn up without a word, after someone has driven across the country to play with you, is the one thing this network will not carry. Silent no-shows are removed. Permanently, and whichever side of the round they were on.
