Northwood Golf Club
What you’re in for.
Northwood is mature parkland, tree-lined fairways and well-kept greens, in Middlesex, London & South East. The club dates to 1891.
The way to see a club like this is as a member's guest: signed in by someone who plays it every week, at the club's own guest rate rather than the full visitor fee. That is exactly what Hosted Rounds is built for. Connect with a Northwood member, play the round together, and return the favour at your own club.
GETTING ON, AND THE RULES
AT THE CLUB
Play Northwood as a member’s guest, for £35.
That is the club’s own member’s guest rate, up to 56% below the £80 visitor green fee. A member signs you in and plays the round with you. Hosted Rounds is the members’ network that finds you the member.
Playing Northwood as a guest
How do I play Northwood Golf Club as a guest?+
Northwood Golf Club is a private members' club, so the surest way to play it is as a member's guest. Hosted Rounds is a UK members' network built for exactly that: join, connect with a Northwood member, and they sign you in as their guest, usually at the club's own member's-guest rate rather than the full visitor fee.
How much is it to play Northwood Golf Club with a member?+
Played as a member's guest at Northwood, the rate is about £35 on weekdays and £40 at weekends, versus the £80 visitor green fee. Your host signs you in and it is paid at the club on the day.
How much does membership at Northwood Golf Club cost?+
Membership subscriptions at Northwood are set annually and, as at most private members' clubs, are generally quoted on enquiry, so ask the club direct about current fees, joining fees and any waiting list. If the aim is to play Northwood rather than join it, you do not need a membership at all: a member can sign you in as their guest for about £35, which is what Hosted Rounds arranges.
Can you play Northwood Golf Club without being a member?+
Yes. Northwood allows visitor play, with some restrictions (visitors mondays, tuesdays and thursdays only; members guests welcome every day, weekends after 11:30am). You can also play as a member's guest, signed in by a member at the club's guest rate.
