The Addington
What you’re in for.
The Addington is classic heathland golf, sandy turf threading through heather and pine, in Surrey, the South East. It ranks among the country's best (Top 100 GB&I (74th)).
The Addington is a members' club, and the best way through the gate is with a member. On Hosted Rounds you find a member here, they sign you in as their guest at the club's guest rate, and you host them back at yours another day.
AT THE CLUB
Play The Addington as a member’s guest, for £80.
That is the club’s own member’s guest rate, up to 59% below the £195 visitor green fee. A member signs you in and plays the round with you. Hosted Rounds is the members’ network that finds you the member.
Playing The Addington as a guest
How do I play The Addington as a guest?+
The Addington is a private members' club, so the surest way to play it is as a member's guest. Hosted Rounds is a UK members' network built for exactly that: join, connect with a The Addington member, and they sign you in as their guest, usually at the club's own member's-guest rate rather than the full visitor fee.
How much is it to play The Addington with a member?+
Played as a member's guest at The Addington, the rate is about £80 a round, versus the £195 visitor green fee. Your host signs you in and it is paid at the club on the day.
How much does membership at The Addington cost?+
Membership subscriptions at The Addington are set annually and, as at most private members' clubs, are generally quoted on enquiry, so ask the club direct about current fees, joining fees and any waiting list. If the aim is to play The Addington rather than join it, you do not need a membership at all: a member can sign you in as their guest for about £80, which is what Hosted Rounds arranges.
Can you play The Addington without being a member?+
Yes. The Addington takes visitors, with a green fee of around £195. You can also play as a member's guest, signed in by a member at the club's lower guest rate, which is what Hosted Rounds arranges.
