Founded in 1873, West Lancashire is one of England's oldest links courses, laid out on duneland beside the Mersey estuary between Blundellsands and Hightown.
Remodelled by Ken Cotton and Fred Hawtree in the early 1960s, the course hosts Final Qualifying for The Open in 2026.
THE COURSE
The 13th is a memorable short par 4 of around 355 yards, played from an elevated tee down a dune-framed valley to a plateau green.
